This policy explains how Malaga Smash Repairs ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through malagasmashrepair.com.au. We handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

• Quote requests: your name, phone number, email address (if you give it), vehicle details, a description of the damage, and any photos you upload.
• Calls and texts: your phone number and anything you send us, including photos.
• Website usage: anonymous, aggregated information about page visits, collected by our hosting provider's analytics. This doesn't identify you.

Photos

Photos you send are used to understand the damage and prepare your quote. Try to keep people and other vehicles' number plates out of shot. We won't publish your photos or photos of your car without asking you first.

How we use it

We use your information to respond to your enquiry, prepare quotes, carry out and manage repairs, deal with your insurer when you've asked us to, and keep business records. We don't sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.

Who we share it with

• Your insurer or the other party's insurer, when your repair is part of a claim.
• Service providers that run this website and our enquiry system (website hosting and a form-handling service that stores quote requests and emails them to us). Their servers may be located outside Australia.
• Anyone we're required to share with by law.

Third-party services on this site

Our pages load fonts from Google Fonts and an embedded map from Google Maps, which may collect technical information such as your IP address under Google's own privacy policy.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.

Access and correction

You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or make a privacy complaint, by calling 0401 007 323 or visiting us at 4/11 Oxleigh Drive, Malaga WA 6090. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
